Homechord is built by Webeleon as an offline-first music tool for exploring chord progressions. This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you use the Homechord mobile app or website.
Data we do not collect
Homechord does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, payment information, or any other personal information.
Mobile app
The Homechord mobile app stores your songs and preferences locally on your device. We do not upload them to any server. The app works offline. The FOREGROUND_SERVICE permission is used only to keep audio playback running when the screen is off.
Website
The Homechord website stores your songs and preferences locally in your browser. The site uses Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregate usage metrics. This data does not identify you personally.
Audio
Chords are synthesized locally on your device in real time. Homechord does not record your microphone or transmit audio anywhere.
Third parties
Homechord does not show ads and does not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
Children
Homechord is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
